Our journey at LM Logistik is more than a timeline—it’s a story of family, craftsmanship, and entrepreneurial spirit.

The company as it exists today was founded in 1990 by Katarina and Robert Hjertén, but its roots go back further. Katarina’s father, Östen Emanuelsson, and his uncle once ran a small sewing factory where they produced the now-iconic Gul & Blå jeans—an instant success in Sweden.

As a young man, Robert would deliver the sought-after jeans from the village of Vegby to a prestigious store on Birger Jarlsgatan in Stockholm, where they sold out fast. When the factory closed and that chapter ended, Katarina and Robert saw an opportunity to start something new in the very same space.

With the same entrepreneurial drive that ran in the family, they launched LM Logistik—and began building what would become a trusted logistics partner for businesses across Sweden.

The name LM Logistik is a loving tribute to Katarina’s mother, Lisa Margareta—a talented seamstress and a key part of Östen’s business. By carrying her name forward, we honor our heritage: craftsmanship, strong family values, and a deep-rooted work ethic.

Today, Katarina and Robert continue the journey with their children, Amanda and David, by their side. We’ve grown and evolved over the years, but our warm, family-driven approach remains at the heart of everything we do.
